Dear 410,000 beloved Gumi citizens!
I am Park Gyo-sang, the Chairperson of the 9th Gumi City Council.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the citizens who always show generous interest and support for the Gumi City Council.

As the Chairperson, I promise to live up to your expectations and to present a new vision for regional development, striving to create a better future for Gumi City.

The Gumi City Council will closely identify the inconveniences and needs felt by citizens in their daily lives and swiftly and accurately pursue legislative policies, such as the enactment and revision of ordinances, to address these issues.

Additionally, we will further strengthen transparency and fairness through transparent decision-making processes so that the Gumi City Council can establish itself as a trusted institution by the citizens.

We will actively present opinions on major policies and current issues of Gumi City, prepare constructive alternatives, and faithfully perform the original roles of the council, such as monitoring and checking the executive branch, to enhance the effectiveness of policies and bring tangible changes to the lives of citizens.

The Gumi City Council will always be an open council that listens to the voices of its citizens and works hand-in-hand with you for the happiness of citizens and the development of the region.
