Examination of petitions

Petition Processing Procedure

A person who wants to file a petition to the local council writes in a petition his/her name, address, signature, the purpose and reason of the petition in detail, and attaches a written petition referral and opinion of more than one member of a city council, and submits it to the local council. A petition can be filed on relief of damage, punishment of corrupted public servants, revision and abolishment of an ordinance, operation of a public facility, and other matters related to the local government, but may not be accepted in the cases of trial disturbance, the insult on a national agency, more than 2 petitions to the same agency or a petition to more than 2 agencies, and a petition in violation of the law.
